The wealth of shopping opportunities in The Lanes and North Laine (only 5-10 minutes away) is guaranteed to challenge your credit card, but there are plenty of bargains to be discovered. Getting to Brighton
The railway links are good, with fast trains running regularly from London every half hour. (Takes around an hour). A coastal route serves the south coast. We are about a 20 minute walk from the station, or a cab costs around £4- £5. By car, the M23 is a fast link from Brighton to the M25, but be warned parking is no longer free in the town. (Ask us for special Hotel Guest vouchers which allow parking near the guest house for £5 per 24 hours). There is a coach service from Heathrow and Gatwick airports and Gatwick is well served by trains. From Stansted you're better off taking trains via London as the coach takes a long time.
